Brochure - Farmingville: A Resource Guide

This resource guide was created to accompany screenings of the documentary, "Farmingville" and by extension, for download from the web by POV ("Point of View," a PBS television series) and the advocacy organization, Active Voice. The guide was designed to be used by teachers and facilitators when viewing the film with their students or a group to learn more about the issues presented in the documentary. It also was a guide to developing effective practices for working with community members, government and private organizations and day laborers; and to developing appropriate solutions. The guide contained sections such as "What You Can Do," "Immigration Today," and "Promising Practices." "Farmingville" premiered on POV on June 22, 2004.
