Summons - Latino Day Laborers vs. Posse Comitatus, American Patrol, et. al., 9/17/01

Summons requiring Posse Comitatus, American Patrol, et. al. to answer a complaint by I.R. and M.E.E. and all Latino Day Laborers on or by 9/17/01. The civil action summons required the defendants (Posse Comitatus, Sheriff's Posse Comitatus, American Patrol, The Creativity Movement, Sachem Quality of Life, Inc., World Church of the Creator, Christopher Slavin and Ryan Wagner) to answer a complaint for monetary damages by plaintiffs Israel Perez and Magdaleno Estrada Escamilla and "all other Mexican/Chicano and/or Latino Day Laborers similarly situated" on or by September 17, 2001. The summons stated that the plaintiffs, Israel Perez and Magdaleno Estrada Escamilla, were "attacked and seriously injured by the violent acts of [the individual] defendants" Christopher Slavin and Ryan Wagner, and that the organizations listed on the summons "have provided a support network and have aided, and... continue to aid" the individual defendants in violation of the plaintiff's rights. It provided documentation on jurisdiction, parties, class allegations, statement of facts, the eight counts in the summons, and injunctive relief.
