The Ice Cart, or Water Box, Icing a Logging Road

Man driving a horse drawn ice cart in snowy forest near Woodhull Lake in the Adirondack Mountains. The carts were used in winter to spray logging roads with water to form an icy cover, making transportation by sled easier.
