Erie Canal Survey, Watervliet showing Van Rensselaer and Watervliet Turnpike

This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Erie Canal in Watervliet. The map is split into two views. The first view shows three bridges, seven buildings and the Watervliet Turnpike. The second view shows the Hudson River and the Watervliet Turnpike. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the property of S. Van Rensselaer.
