It shows Wood Creek, multiple basins, two bridges, forty-three buildings, the Road to Fort Ann and an unidentified road that leads to the canal. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Widow Tozer, Elisha Blinn, Widow Cozier, Andrew Law, Jeremiah Adams, Peter Comstock, Wright, Eddy and B. Wright.
