Champlain Canal Survey, Fort Ann showing Stuart and Ashley

This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Champlain Canal in Fort Ann. The map is split into two views. The first view shows two arms of the Wood Creek, a building, the Road to the Village of Fort Ann and an unidentified road. The second view shows two bridges, three buildings and the Road to the Village of Fort Ann. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Thaddeus Dewey, Henry Weller, William Weller, Ira Weller, Ezra Parish, Briggs and Ashley.
