Elfin Glen on Joe Brook, Ulster County

View of three small waterfalls at Elfin Glen on Joe Brook in Shandaken, Ulster County in the Catskill Mountains. The glen is in Big Indian Valley near the Slide Mountain Post Office. The bedrock is sandstone and shale from the Devonian Period (the span of the Earth's history from about 408 to 360 million years ago.). This image was created to record the Catskill forest-related activities of the New York State Conservation Commission.
