Photographic prints and negatives of images used for Department publications. Images include crop cultivation, harvesting, and processing; livestock care and inspection; promotional events and meetings; and portraits of Department officials. Laboratories, cattle, beekeeping, onion and lettuce cultivation, inspections and exhibits are particularly well documented. These photographs are the only known general subject photograph file for the Department of Agriculture and Markets.
