Ralph Sheldon Hosmer papers

Ralph Sheldon Hosmer served as Professor of Forestry and Head of the Department of Forestry at the New York State College of Agriculture at Cornell University from 1914-1942. The Ralph S. Hosmer papers consist of correspondence, memoranda, manuscripts, and printed matter concerning the Department of Forestry at Cornell and include curriculum material, minutes of staff meetings, reports, and correspondence pertaining to forestry education in New York. The papers also include Hosmer's student notes compiled while he studied at Harvard; notes on Central Park (New York City); a diary; papers and articles by Hosmer and others; and manuscripts of radio talks.
