"Lynbrook Dog Won Fame in Army"

A reprint from The New Era of Lynbrook. "Lynbrook Dog Won Fame In Army." March 19, 1919.

"Don" was a collie given to Company B of the 106th Infantry in 1917. Don recieved two wounds during battle, and was presented with a blanket from his company, which bore his two gold would stripes, and the company and regimental inscription, as well as his gold service stripe for two months overseas and his divisional insignia.
