Hand drawn survey map of the relative position of the veins of iron ore in and adjoining the Village of McIntyre. Along with iron ore, this map also shows Lake Henderson, Lake Sanford, Lake Sally, Loch Harkness and Loch Hamish. Through a color coded legend, the map shows where the different types of iron ore are located on the map. The legend also shows the location of clay and cleared lands. The map is marked, "Private copy from private papers of Verplanck Colvin." Original map is 18" x 23.9" inches and is held by the Dept. of Environmental Conservation.
