Court proceedings. Anthony Portugees vs. Anthony Jansen from Salee, defendant, for loss of a hog ; referred to arbitration. Thomas Bescher vs. Hendrick Jansen, for slander ; case continued. [1638]
Court proceedings. Anthony Portugees vs. Anthony Jansen from Salee, award of arbitrators confirmed and judgment for plaintiff accordingly. Francis Leslee vs. Nidt Wilson ; on application, auditors appointed to examine accounts and value plantation. Hendrick Jansen vs. Thomas Becher, slander ; parties ordered to remain quiet or pay a fine of 25 guilders. [1638]
