Everardus Bogardus and Tymen Jansen, guardians of the minor children of Cornelis van Vorst, vs. Jan Damen and David Provoost, guardian of Jan, eldest son of said Van Vorst, for an increased allowance to educate said minors ; granted. Ordinance. Against tapping beer or strong liquors during divine service, or after ten o'clock at night ; against using any other measure than that of Amsterdam ; also fixing the price of beer. [1641] (page 90)

Ordinance. Regulating the currency of Wampum, and prohibiting the circulation of a foreign inferior description, which has driven "the splendid Manhattan wampum" out of sight. [1641] (page 90)

Court proceedings. Everardus Bogardus et al., guardians of the minor children of Cornelis van Vorst vs. Hendrick Jansen, tailor ; to testify respecting an alleged indebtedness of Hendrick van Vorst to his deceased father's estate ; defendant declares he knows nothing about it. [1641] (page 91)

Court proceedings. Jan Damen and David Provoost vs. Everardus Bogardus and Tymen Jansen, guardians of the estate of the late Hendrick van Vorst, on a claim as guardians of Jan van Vorst, to one-half of the estate of said Hendrick, in his right, as full brother of deceased, and then to an equal share of the remainder with his half brother and sister ; court awarded judgment for plaintiffs as claimed. Jacob Stoffelsen vs. Everardus Bogardus et al., guardians, &c., that defendant, before dividing Hendrick van Vorst's estate, pay what he owed his father ; judgment for plaintiff. Hendrick Jansen, father and guardian of Elsie Hendrick, vs. the guardians of the late Hendrick van Vorst's heirs, for three cows which said Van Vorst verbally promised his daughter, in case he died on the passage to Fatherland ; judgment for defendants.
