Court proceedings. Jan de Fries vs. Jan Alleman, for sending a challenge to plaintiff, who is bedridden ; defendant acknowledges the fact ; sentence, to ride the Wooden horse and be cashiered. Jacob Reyersen, attorney for Jan van. Hardenbergh, action to recover money due the late Hendrick Roesen ; defendant takes his oath that he does not owe anything to the deceased ; judgment for plaintiff, without costs. Augustyn Heerman vs. Symon Pos, action of debt ; defendant maintains he is not liable, as the plaintiff brought away his beavers without consent, and they were damaged on the voyage down ; case continued. Richard Smith vs. John Wilcox ; referred to arbitration. [1645]

Resolution on a petition of Adriaen van der Donck for the restitution of beavers seized by the fiscal ; judgment having been pronounced, there is nothing more to be said here ; whereupon Van der Donck enters protest, in order to proceed hereafter according to circumstances. [1645]
