Civil War. Sunken Road on Day of Battle near Fredericksburg, Virginia

A sunken road on the day of the Battle of Chancellorsville, May 3, 1863. At Chancellorsville, Confederate General Robert E. Lee soundly defeated the Union Army led by Joseph Hooker, but lost Lt. General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson to friendly fire.
