Abraham Lincoln. Birth Place of Lincoln

Log hut rebuilt largely of original material of birthplace. Within Lincoln Memorial, near Hodgenville, Kentucky.

Abraham Lincoln was born to Thomas and Nancy Lincoln on February 12, 1809. Though the original log cabin where Lincoln was born was later dismantled, two farm sites where he grew up in Hogdenville, Kentucky were designated the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park.
