Ethiopia - Noblemen in Official Regalia

Noblemen in Official Regalia in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The four noblemen are dressed in traditional upper class regalia. Two of the men are wearing lion mane headdresses, with one man carrying an ornately decorated shield. All four men are wearing traditional white cotton pants and knee-length shirts made of yahager lebse, cotton woven into long strips that are then sewn together. All four are also carrying rifles, (1922).
