Brazil - Interior of Waiwai Native House

Three Brazilian Waiwai are resting in hammocks under the roof of a shelter, while another is seated on the ground. On the ground are jars and other household utensils. From a negative of the University Museum, Philadelphia. The Waiwai are a group of American Indians who live primarily in the rain forests of Brazil, although some also settled in Venezuela and Guyana, (1915).
