England - Row of Old Cottages, Thatched Roofs

A row of old cottages with thatched roofs in Abington, Cambridgeshire, England. A man with a hat is standing in front of the house by a road, while two other figures stand in a doorway. The roof is topped by three chimneys, each producing smoke. There are three doorways in the front of the house. Thatch is one of the earliest forms of roofing and was heavily used in Europe, (1910).
