N.Y. Albany. State Capitol. Assembly Chamber

Interior view of the Assembly Chamber in the New York State Capitol. Several rows of representatives' desks are arranged in a semi-circle in front of a dais. A gallery overlooks the Chamber on the far wall. Several chandeliers hang from the ceiling. Designed by Leopold Eidlitz, the Assembly Chamber is the largest room in the Capitol and was the first of the main rooms to be completed.
