American & Luna Falls from Below.

View of the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls (formerly called Luna Falls) from the Niagara River at the base of Niagara Falls. The top of a tower is visible above the falls. Among the rocks at the bottom of the falls, a wooden walkway bridges the gaps between rocks, headed perhaps to the Cave of the Winds behind the falls. To the left, a suspension bridge known as the Falls View Bridge crosses the river between the United States and Canada. The bridge was later replaced by the Upper Steel Arch Bridge, which was completed in 1898.
