Beginners at girls swimming school in New York City

A crowd of young girls fills the shallow end of a girls' swimming pool in New York City. The shallower area is to the right of the main pool and is separated from the main pool by a wooden fence. Several girls hang off the fence. A few older women swim in the main pool to the left. More girls watch from the pool house porch next to the pool.
