RMS Queen Mary & HMS

The RMS Queen Mary leaving port. The RMS Queen Elizabeth can be seen still docked. The ships were docked at Pier 90, located at the intersection of 50th and 12th streets.

During World War II these ships were used to carry troops across the Atlantic Ocean. After the war, both ships were converted for passenger use. The ships were own by Cunard White Star (now called Cunard Line).
