[Transcript, Telegram from Abraham Lincoln to Governor Morgan and Senator Harris]

Transcript of a telegram from President Abraham Lincoln to Governor Edwin D. Morgan and Senator Ira Harris of New York, 1861. Lincoln reassured them that neither he nor the War Department had heard anything indicating the resignation of a General Wool (most likely John E. Wool, a New Yorker and the oldest Union general during the Civil War).

Also included on the page is a transcript of a telegram from A. Cummings, asking Governor Morgan about the arrival of General Cameron in Albany.
