Record of death of Leon Czolgosz in Auburn Prison physician's log, 1901. Czolgosz was executed for the assassination of President William McKinley in Buffalo on September 6, 1901. The physician's notes indicate that the prisoner's body was buried in "sulphuric acid and lime" after the execution.
