Affidavits from City and County of Albany for Thomas Barker

Two affidavits: the first signed by Thomas Barker before New York Commissioner of Deeds William Filch verifying his service in First N.Y. Regiment Volunteers during the Mexican War; the second signed by William T. Burgess verifying Thomas Barker's service. Also included: letter from June 16, 1876 from Colonel Ward B. Burnett to New York State Comptroller T. Robinson, requesting payments be made to soldiers under his command in the Mexican War.
