Affidavit to the New York State Comptroller from Jarvis Streeter

Affidavit for the New York State Comptroller made by Jarvis Streeter, veteran of the New York State Volunteers (H Company) during the Mexican War. The affidavit was certified by L.F. Jones, Notary Public of Mariposa County (CA). Also includes a certificate signed by Col. Ward B. Burnett, asserting the validity of Stokes’ claim of serving in the Volunteers.
