Letter to New York State Deputy Comptroller Henry Gallien from William Tidball, who wrote from the Association of Veterans of the Mexican War on behalf of veterans George Stringer, Peter Waters, Francis Seagrist, and others. He requested information on all of the veterans who had not been paid pensions, and suggested the drafting of a new bill to aid the granting of final settlements.
