Letter to New York State Comptroller N.K. Hopkins for Horace Meech

Letter to the New York State Comptroller N.K. Hopkins from Notary Public George Emerson, who wrote on behalf of Phoebe Meech, widow of veteran Horace Meech of the New York State Volunteers during the Mexican War. He wrote to give testimony as to Phoebe Meech’s character, and to request that the Comptroller review her case and allot her the pension monies due to her husband.
