Letter to New York State Comptroller Nelson K. Hopkins from Phoebe Meech, widow of Horace Meech, veteran of the New York State Volunteers during the Mexican War. She wrote to tell the Comptroller of another widow who successfully received pension monies, and to request information about the status of her claim.
