Waste Weir Gate

Drawing of a gate for a waste weir to be built on the Erie Canal as part of its first enlargement (1835-1862). The plan was displayed in Buffalo on September 1, 1854, so this part was presumably for the canal’s Western Division. The scale is one inch equals one foot.
