The first view shows the Mohawk River, a guard lock, Lock No. 26, three buildings, the Road to Schenectady and an unidentified road. The second view shows the Mohawk River, a bridge and an old feeder location. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of H.N. Van Patten, W. Bradt, S. Schermerhorn, I. Schermerhorn, Widow A. Schermerhorn, Tocaris Vedder, J. and S.A. Schermerhorn, Morrison and J.I Schermerhorn.
