The first view shows the Village of Fort Miller, the Fort Miller Dam, a waterway connecting the canal and the Hudson River, a basin, two bridges, twenty-eight buildings, the Road to Saratoga Dam and an unidentified road. The second view shows the Fort Edward and Greenwich Town Line, the Hudson River, a stream and culvert, a bridge, twenty-one buildings and the Road to Saratoga Dam. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Viele, S.L. Viele, P.G Viele, Ludovicus Viele, S. Bennet, Bleeker, B. and J.R. Bleeker, Burnham and Button.
