It shows Lock No. 21, Oriskany Creek, White Creek, a mill race, an aqueduct, two bridges, sixteen buildings and an unidentified road. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Dwight, Lester Barker, Heirs of J. House and Heirs of Bronson Foote.
