This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Chenango Canal in Kirkland and Marshall. It shows the Kirkland and Marshall Town Line, Dean’s Brook which connects to the canal, Lock No. 36, 37, 38, 39, 40 and 41, two bridges, nine buildings and two unidentified roads that meet to form a T. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of E. Mathews and Adolphus Fowler.
