This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Chenango Canal in Marshall. It shows Oriskany Creek which forms a large pond, Lock No. 49, 50, 51 and 52, a basin created between Lock No. 50 and 51, a bridge, six buildings and two unidentified roads that meet to form a reversed T. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of John P. Drake and Luther B. Colburn.
