This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Chenango Canal in Sherburne. It shows the Chenango River which runs under the canal at one point, Mad Brook which crosses two roads and runs into the river, Feeder No. 1 that runs into the canal, Lock No. 88, an aqueduct, four bridges, ten buildings and three unidentified roads. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Hatch, William Bates, Simeon Bullock, Milo Hunt, H. Paddleford and Amos Cole.
