This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Erie Canal in Brighton. It shows an area of the canal splitting into two channels to accommodate a plaster and saw mill, an area of the canal splitting into two channels to form a waste weir and pond, a lock lot owned by B.B. Blossom and Wife and eleven buildings. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Northrup, Benjamin B. Blossom, Winslow Heath and Levi Hoyt.
