It shows the Village of Canastota, two canal feeders, a large basin, a dry dock, four bridges, forty-one buildings, the E Line of the Canastota Tract, Peterboro Street and three other unidentified roads. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Perkins, Roberts, B. Nellis and Lot No. 86.
