Bear, Black

View of two black bear (Ursus americanus) cubs feeding from a man's hand somewhere in New York State. The date is unrecorded, but probably sometime around 1920. The bears wear chains and collars around their necks, and are presumably being raised in captivity. This image was created to record the game-related activities of the New York State Conservation Commission.
