View of Heart Island and Boldt Castle in the Saint Lawrence River opposite Alexandria Bay in Alexandria, Jefferson County in the Thousand Islands. Boldt Castle was the intended summer home of George and Louise Boldt; construction began in 1900, but was abandoned in 1904 after Louise's death. A boat is docked at the island in front of the servant's dock and apartments, which no longer exist.
