White pine plantation covering 400 acres made 1918 by convicts from Dannemora prison at Godsmith's

A group of men pose while on a Farm Bureau reforestry tour of a White Pine (Pinus strobus) plantation in Clinton County, N.Y. The trees were planted in 1918 by prisoners from the Clinton Correctional Facility located in Dannemora, N.Y. This image was created to record the reforestation efforts of the New York State Conservation Commission.
