Carthage watershed forest

Two unidentified men inspect recently thinned pine trees at the Carthage watershed in Carthage, NY. Many cities planted pines as shade trees at their municipal reservoirs to deter the growth of algae. This image was created to record the reforestation efforts of the New York State Conservation Department.
