Syracuse State Fair Exhibit

A crowd of people look at the Golden (Chrysolophus pictus) and Silver (Lophura nycthemera) pheasants on display at the 1933 State Fair in Syracuse, N.Y. The Conservation Department had an extensive public education program which included not only exhibits, but also demonstrations, forestry tours and motion pictures. This image was created to record the public education efforts of the Conservation Department.
