Representatives from the Conservation Department visited this nursery in Halstenbek, Germany, to learn agricultural techniques. The Heins Sohne nursery had an international reputation, providing plants to the Biltmore House as well as others. Visible here is a stack of the woven baskets used for transport and shipping of the plants the nursery produces.
