Scene on a pier at Canoe Point on Grindstone Island (now Canoe-Picnic Point State Park) in Clayton, Jefferson County in the Thousand Islands. Four motorboats are docked at the pier, one a Canadian yacht with seven people visible on it. A party of eight women and three men are standing at the edge of the pier. The rear boat on the right side may be the New York State boat Merry Widow 2nd. This image was created to record the state forest-related activities of the New York State Conservation Commission.
