Cochrane on consistent enforcement of rules and regulations, discrimination, use of guns within Attica, abnormal behavior, and segregation practices of prisoners. The morning session ends, and Mitchell Krause summarizes the session for the WXXI audience. The Afternoon session begins with Robert McKay swearing in Walter Clifford Swift, former inmate and Attica medic. Swift is examined by Arthur Liman regarding conditions and his experiences at Attica prior to September 9, 1971. Swift discusses taking high school and college courses at Attica, working at the hospital, and keeplock confinement.
