Rochester Hearings – April 13, 1972 (Afternoon). Recording continues Arthur Liman’s examination of Luis Angel Rose Martinez. Martinez discusses his experiences as a Spanish speaking inmate of Puerto Rican descent, keeplock confinement, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), safety, prison food services, and financial needs of prisoners. Mitchell Krause gives a synopsis of Martinez's testimony during the recording break. Arthur Liman asks Martinez about his experiences in the days leading up to the uprising. Martinez answers questions posed by the other McKay Commissioners about schooling.
