New York City Hearings – April 21, 1972 (Afternoon). Low audio quality. Large gaps of silence. Recording begins with WRVR journalist Arthur Albert discussing the hearings and taking listener phone calls. General Counsel Arthur Liman examines Lynn Van Johnson II, a correction officer at Attica during the uprising and retaking. Follow-up questions are asked by Commission members Wilbanks, Marshall, Wadsworth, Henix, Rothschild, and Guerrero. Johnson makes a final statement. WRVR journalist Dan Mack summarizes Johnson’s testimony. Liman examines William Kunstler, a member of the Observers' Committee.
