New York City Hearings – April 25, 1972 (Afternoon). Recording of Henry Rossbacher examining Carl C. Jamalkowski, a correction officer at Attica. Follow-up questions are asked by Commission members Henix, Carter, and Broderick. Jamalkowski makes a final statement. General Counsel Arthur Liman examines Ronald T. Kozlowski, a senior account clerk at Attica, about his experiences as a hostage during the retaking. Follow-up questions are asked by Commission member Wadsworth. Liman examines New York State Police Captain Anthony Malovich about the Attica uprising, retaking, and training. Follow-up questions are asked by Carter, Henix, Wilbanks, and Wadsworth. Arthur Munisteri examines Lieutenant Jospeh Christian about his experiences with the retaking. WRVR journalists Dan Mack, Arthur Albert, and Mike Hanson interrupt the broadcast to report on a protest breaking out at Columbia University to remove Project JASON from campus. Lieutenant Christian’s testimony continues. Mack summarizes the session.
